Comments: Really looking forward to having this beauty in my kit.

Description (from B&H): The CFV-50c Digital Back from Hasselblad offers a high resolution CMOS sensor compatible with most Hasselblad V system cameras, even models that date back to the 1950’s. Featuring a 50MP 43.8 x 32.9 mm CMOS sensor that produces lossless compressed RAW 3FR files of approximately 65MB and 8-bit TIFF files of 154MB, the CFV-50c provides simple, cable-free compatibility with V-system cameras. CMOS technology enables a broad ISO sensitivity range of 100-6400 and 1.5 captures per second. Single shot drive is supported and the longest exposure time is 12 minutes.

A 3.0″ TFT LCD monitor provides bright and color-accurate playback and images can be saved to either a Compact Flash memory card or to a tethered computer via FireWire 800. Simple controls and an intuitive menu makes the back easy to navigate and both Adobe Lightroom and the proprietary Phocus software downloads are included with the digital back. File management applications such as DAC lens correction, Moire Removal Technology and Natural Color Solution control distortion and provide an “out-of-the-box” color profile system. Hasselblad 3FR files can also be opened with some limitations in Adobe Photoshop and Aperture, for example.

To complement its compatibility with the classic V system, the CFV-50c back features a stylish retro build and textured surface reminiscent of film magazines, however its state-of-the-art CMOS sensor converts virtually all V system cameras into high performance digital cameras.
